Megan McQuaid – Principal
Megan comes from a family with a rich history in architecture and design. Her mother, a successful interior designer, instilled in her the importance of creating environments that enhance her clients’ lifestyles. Her uncle worked with the giants of architecture and design, including Frank Lloyd Wright.
Megan received her initial training at George Washington University-Mount Vernon School. She studied decorative arts at Georgetown University and she received advanced training at the Parsons School of Design, the European campus of the New School in Paris. Living and experiencing the Parisian art and lifestyle provided a lasting foundation for her designs. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
Megan has traveled the world to experience the rich tapestry of worldwide design. These opportunities have enabled her to develop her unique design point of view. Her designs refine and enrich the finished interiors, she adapts to every client’s taste and personality to create their ideal environment.
Marianne Heidelbaugh – Designer
Marianne brings over 40 years of experience to our firm as an award-winning Designer with her primary focus on residential design. She has worked on a broad array of projects throughout the country ranging from metropolitan interiors to beach houses and mountain retreats.
Leslie McCormack – Studio Manager
With over twenty years of experience in the design field, Leslie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. From early on, her love of textiles fostered her interest in the industry. Following her initial career in education and counseling, Leslie worked with several interior design firms and a construction company, providing project management and support. Additionally, as a showroom manager, Leslie became an expert in industry resources including furniture, fabrics and accessories. She is a valuable asset to our team and provides excellent customer service to our clients.
Shirley Connerty – Design Coordinator
Shirley has many years of design and project coordination experience. In addition to raising her three children, Shirley has enjoyed a professional career that has included projects such as consulting with The Orlando Convention Bureau and the 5-star Peninsula Hotel in Chicago. Along with design, one of her many passions is wedding consultancy; her events have appeared on the pages of The Modern Luxury Magazine. With a keen eye for exquisite design and a love of the functionality, Shirley is a master at creating and coordinating living spaces that are beautiful, timeless and indelible.
